![]() So I could probably use SkyDrive from my laptop. Sort of I am a consultant so I typically do most of my work from a client-issued desktop that is on their domain, and I also have a firm-issued laptop that is on a guest WiFi network. Would it be possible to tie one into the other at a middle point? Like, do you have a company laptop that is ever not on the VPN? Sorry, I mysteriously edited out the pertinent bit - it's not allowed in the workplaces I typically work in.Īh. I have had no problem whatsoever synchronizing OneNote for my laptop either physically behind our walls or through our VPN. I don't use OneNote for my personal stuff because the only place I can use it that way is on my smartphone, and for those uses it isn't any better than Evernote. Therefore, I lose one of the key features - the ability to keep all my notebooks in one central location, but accessible anywhere. 2) Synch to SkyDrive is almost universally neutralized by corporate firewalls. ![]()
